Because our Sales and Business Development teams are growing rapidly and quickly developing a strong sales prospect pipeline, we are looking to hire a full time Sales Operations Manager. This is an exciting position on a growing team with ample opportunities for professional development and the opportunity to engage globally in the future as we expand internationally.

Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development, the Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting all sales pipeline tracking and reporting on a weekly basis, both within the Sales team and companywide. This includes supporting key business processes and sales activities such as customer onboarding, data analysis and detailed sales reporting. You will interface with and coordinate internally with team members in Sales, Business Development, Product Development, Supply Chain, O&M, Software, Engineering, and Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Erthos’s existing CRM tool (SalesPro) is a top priority. You will be responsible for effectively organizing our sales data into a uniform reporting format which will be provided to the VP of Business Development on a weekly basis.
  • Proactively collect, organize and document all relevant sales data from the Business Development, Sales and Engineering teams. You will then utilize this data to organize and lead weekly internal sales pipeline meetings.
  • Lead sales status tracking and reporting.
  • Assist with project initiation and customer lead generation, managing HubSpot integrations, and following up with customer leads.
  • Scout and originate new opportunities through market industry intelligence and other media channels.
  • Maintain sales agreements and other documents, ensuring that all applicable sales contracts and related documentation (i.e., NDAs and other supporting documents) are properly executed and saved within our internal system for quick reference when needed.
  • Regularly interact with the Project Management and Project Execution teams to track the status of sales contracts. You will also act as the Sales team’s representative during internal project management coordination meetings.
  • Regularly interact with the leadership and executive teams as the main steward of the company’s key sales data.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field is preferred, but not required if you have the requisite sales operations and CRM experience.
  • 2 or more years of pertinent experience in sales operations/sales reporting, data analytics, process optimization, or strategic planning. Candidates with an extremely strong background and proven ability to navigate a CRM tool to consistently track and report upon sales pipeline activity will be strongly favored.
  • Recent experience within a company that has a sales pipeline similar to Erthos such as a utility scale solar, construction, or large-scale renewable energy company is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with solar or renewable energy project lifecycle a plus.
  • Strong proficiency utilizing MS Office Suite, with emphasis in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience in process mapping using Lucidchart or a similar tool is preferred.
  • A collaborative work style is essential, since we are a tight knit team that does our best to support each other every day.
  • Extremely strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • You have strong critical thinking, planning, organization, and execution skills. You are an independent, self-motivated person who has a demonstrated ability to take initiative without being told what to do each and every time. You anticipate potential issues and recommend reasonable solutions.
  • The ability to absorb and process information from multiple sources in order to organize, prepare and present key data to internal stakeholders.
Location and Travel Requirements

This position can be successfully performed via a fully remote office set up. Therefore, all qualified applicants with the US are encouraged to apply. However, all applicants must be able to travel domestically for corporate meetings when needed. Travel is expected to be minimal (likely no more than 10%).
